STOP PRESS NEWS... SPRING 2012... HI, I'VE BEEN off-line for a while so it is nice to be back chatting with my on-line readers. Many thanks to Greenhouse, (The Bangor Community Resource Centre) Bangor, Gwynedd, who were very helpful in making my last Dramatised Reading - just before last Christmas - such a success. Special thanks to Thomas Benson for his hands-on help and advice - one young reader described it as the best day of his life! Also thanks to Palas Print, of Caernarfon, for hosting the Book Signing in Bangor, and thanks to the local newspaper who ran an URCHIN Book Competition which was a great success. Special thanks to Eric Quiney for his musical genius and help with the URCHIN rock-rap song... the song has attracted great interest. THE URCHIN'S OF DUMP CITY was first written as a film script, a fun-packed children's adventure which enjoyed the patronage of SIR NORMAN WISDOM. Consequently I have a few comical stories about him that I may share with you from time to time on this page. He was an incredibly funny multi-talented entertainer - a great comedian, musician, and star of stage and screen. And he loved the URCHIN story. He wanted to play Oddboots but sadly Norman died before that was possible
